<aside> 💡 In this quick walkthrough, we're showing you all the core functions of your ultralearning template to make sure you're set up for success!

Your SitePoint Ultralearning Template Dashboard shows you all the information you need in one place. It contains three columns that each serve a different function.
The left column My Projects
serves as a navigation bar to quickly access all your active learning projects.
The right column includes Quick Notes
and Quick Links & Resources
. Use the +
icon up top to drop in a quick note for later reference or jump straight into your favorite learning resources with the links further down the page.
Any part of this template is fully customizable, so feel free to add any useful links to this section.
The middle column takes the majority of the screen real estate and includes a series of useful functions.
Up top, you can see your upcoming assignments and events under Upcoming
.
My inbox
will list all your recent notes that require some organization.
My Timeline
shows you an overview of your projects and milestones.
To start a new learning project, navigate to the and hit the New
Button. Pick New Learning Project
from the list and follow the instructions on the screen to set up your learning project.
The other available options (New Milestone
and New Assignment
) are part of the setup process of a learning project and will be explained there.
The template comes pre-loaded with one Learn Python Test Project 1 and the corresponding milestones and assignments. You can delete it anytime.
Once you've created your first learning project, open it up to the individual project dashboard (or check out the Learn Python Test Project 1 for a first reference).
You can edit the properties of your learning project up top in the Project Database
.
Below, you find three toggles for Assignments
, Milestones
and Notes
. Those toggles will automatically show you any assignment, milestone or note that has been linked to your current learning project, so that you have all the relevant information in one place.
Notes in your Ultralearning Template are inspired by the Zettelkasten approach and fall into two categories: Fleeting Notes
(your first quick thoughts) and Permanent Notes
(finalized summaries).
